The objectives of the Natural Environment Protection Trust are to ensure that :
 The people of Pakistan enjoy the benefit of equivalent protection from air, water or soil pollution and from noise, wherever they live; and
 decisions of the business community are not distorted, and markets not fragmented, by variations between member Governments in relation to the adoption or implementation of major environment protection measures.

What to do?
My guess is my story is not unique, nor the worst. The first question that usually comes to mind is just what the hell can we do?
 Killing selected developers and politicians is not a widely accepted answer.
 Get involved in politics and land use issues.
 A good answer, and the one covered by this page, is to convert at risk land to a land trust.

 city parks
 greenways
 farmland
